Amber Grant

I was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. I attended Allatoona High School in Acworth, Georgia. I first learned about neuroscience in my junior year of high school. I have been fascinated with the subject ever since. Currently, as undergraduate honors student at Georgia State University, I work in the Petrulis Lab helping graduate students and learning laboratory techniques. While watching a show titled Brain Games, I learned about the complexity of human perception. In the future, I would like to devote my time to investigate the neural connections responsible for attention and awareness. During my free time, I am a member of the Georgia State University marching band and the basketball pep band. I also love reading and Netflix watching.
