Derby Lab People

Our research group includes people of many interests and experience. Some, like Manfred Schmidt and Vivian Ngo-Vu, as long-time members who are directing and participating in many projects. Other, like postdocs, come and stay for some time and get additional experience beyond their doctoral work in research, teaching, outreach, and more. Graduate students integrate into our training programs to grow into scientists that will go into academia, government, or the private sector. Undergraduate students can experience much and use it in their chosen futures, be it graduate or professional school, or many other careers.
